WhatsApp is introducing an innovative update, version 2.23.5.12, to the Google Play Beta Program. An exciting new feature is being added as part of this release, which many users are sure to appreciate. Group chats are great for socializing but it can be daunting when there is a message from an unknown contact. With the push-name feature, you don't have to worry about memorizing phone numbers anymore as it'll replace that information in your chat list.

The chat list now displays the contact's name instead of their phone number for better user understanding. This eliminates the need to save a new contact when an unknown number appears in the chat. Group chats can become disorienting when it comes to identifying who is who in the conversation. To make the user experience more seamless, you can assign a push name to each member in place of their phone number, which will appear throughout the app - like in the list of group participants.
