Have you ever lost a phone and given up hope of finding it? 📱 The Gorakhpur Police might just change your mind! In a massive operation, they successfully recovered 826 lost and stolen mobile phones worth approximately ₹1.49 crore.

These devices were successfully returned to their rightful owners thanks to advanced tracking using the CCTNS cell and the CEIR (Central Equipment Identity Register) portal. By simply registering the IMEI number, authorities were able to trace the phones the moment they connected to a network.

This marks the 11th phase of the CEIR campaign, which has helped recover over 3,400 phones worth nearly ₹5.98 crore since September 2023.
