According to sources, Meta's instant messaging platform WhatsApp is working on a brand-new feature for its users. The company may soon allow users to post audio notes as status updates. Currently, WhatsApp users can upload their statuses with pictures and videos.
WaBetaInfo, meanwhile, claims that it is presently working towards making it accessible to include voice notes with your status update. The feature has been observed functioning in WhatsApp for iOS devices.

The app will allow users to add voice notes up to 30 seconds to their status updates, according to the article.
