Sony's State of Play presentation provided updates on upcoming game releases for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. One announcement was the release of three new colours for the DualSense controllers and PS5 shells in the Deep Earth Collection: volcanic red, cobalt blue, and sterling ilver. The livestream showcased a diverse lineup of games, including both indie titles and major releases from third-party partners.
Square Enix confirmed that the highly anticipated 'Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth' will launch on February 29, 2024, spanning across two discs. Insomniac Games showcased 'Marvel's Spider-Man 2,' giving players a closer look at the expanded New York City, which now includes Brooklyn and Queens. The presentation also revealed new Spider-Man suits.
The 'Separate Ways' update for Capcom's 'Resident Evil 4 Remake' will come out on September 21. Ada Wong and Albert Wesker will be available characters in Mercenaries mode after a new update. It is likely that the game will work with PlayStation VR2 in the winter.
"Tales of Arise" by Bandai Namco will get a new part called "Tales of Arise: Beyond the Dawn" on November 9. Arrowhead Game Studio showed how "Helldivers 2" is played, including a fight against the powerful Bile Titan. The game is set to come out on both PS5 and Steam on February 8, 2024.
Ubisoft and Massive Entertainment's 'Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora' is a video game set in the world of Pandora, set between the first and second Avatar movies. Players assume the role of a Na'vi raised by the RDA and explore the Western Frontier, a previously unseen continent in the Avatar universe. The game is expected to arrive in 2024.
