Google has released updated versions of the Google Maps app that will use artificial intelligence (AI) to offer users personalised recommendations. In order to suggest locations, the new generative AI tool will examine over 250 million locations on Google Maps and user inputs from over 300 million people. This week, the feature will start to appear in a few local guides in the US.
