Garmin, a US-based wearable brand, recently launched its ultimate smart device, Garmin Approach S70 smartwatch in India. This watch has been made specifically for golfers and has multiple amazing inbuilt features.
It comes with two variants, a sleek circular dial in 42 mm and another one in 47 mm with 1.2 inch and 1.4 inch display respectively. This AMOLED display has a 454×454 pixels resolution. It has Gorilla Glass 3 for protection of the device. This smartwatch has water resistance features of upto 5 meters and is suitable for all weather conditions.
It has a long lasting battery life of 16 days as a smartwatch and with GPS functioning it will last 20 hours.
It has some inbuilt features for golfers :
- Pre-loaded collection of 43,000 golf courses.
- Assist in club recommendation on the basis of wind speed, green view, hazard view, pinpointer, swing data, distance to green etc.
It has other health tracking features, like a heart rate monitor, heart rate variability analysis, stress tracking, advanced sleep tracking, hydration reminder, women's health tracker, injury prevention etc. This device keeps an eye on the fitness level of the wearer.
The S70 watch has 32 GB storage ,GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, notification display and stock related news etc. One can store music on a device so that they can listen to it anytime.
It does have safety functions like live tracking and incident detection etc.
These two variants, 42 mm and 47 mm, cost Rs. 72,990 and Rs. 78,490 respectively. The 42 mm variant is available in Powder Gray and White and 47 mm is available in Black Hue.
The main objective of this device is to understand and navigate the golf game in a much better way.
