Jaime Maussan, a Mexican ufologist, presented two bodies to Mexico's Congress on Tuesday. The hearing was held to discuss the possibility of extraterrestrial life, and Maussan's presentation was a surprise to many. He brought two caskets into the congressional chambers, and as he spoke, two men uncovered them to reveal two bodies.
Maussan claimed that the bodies were extraterrestrial, but many scientists have dismissed his claims. They believe that the bodies are likely mummified humans or animals.
Jaime Maussan presented two bodies to Mexico's Congress on Tuesday, claiming that they were 1,000-year-old extraterrestrial mummies found in Peru in 2017. The bodies had large heads, small bodies, and three fingers on each hand. Maussan claimed that one of the bodies had been pregnant.
"These are not mummies," he said. "These are complete bodies that have not been manipulated." Speaking under oath, Maussan claimed the bodies were nonhuman.
Maussan and other ufologists have made similar claims about alleged alien remains in the past, but scientists have dismissed these claims as either ancient Peruvian mummies or manipulated mummies. At the hearing on Tuesday, forensic specialist and military doctor, Mr. Zalce, presented the Congress with photographs of alleged alien bodies. He said that the alleged extraterrestrials had large brains and large eyes — "which gave them a broad stereoscopic field of view" — and that they had no teeth, so they probably just drank and didn't chew.
