India's first solar mission Aditya-L1 to be launched today

ISRO has accomplished a remarkable feat with the soft landing of Chandrayaan-3. The organization is now preparing to launch India's first solar mission, Aditya-L1. The mission's objective is to gather remote observations of the solar corona and in situ observations of the solar wind at L1, which is the Sun-Earth Lagrangian point located 1.5 million kilometres from Earth.

India will soon launch its first solar space observatory, which will be transported by the PSLV-C57. This observatory will contain seven different payloads that will provide a detailed study of the sun. Four of these payloads will observe the light emitted by the sun, while the remaining three will measure plasma and magnetic field parameters.

The Aditya-L1 mission, designed to study the Sun, has completed launch rehearsals and internal checks. The mission is set to lift off on September 2 at 11:50 am from the Sriharikota spaceport.
