Chandrayaan-3 mission: ISRO integrates spacecraft with GSLV Mark III for launch

ISRO- Indian Space Research Organization has successfully integrated the payload fairing with one of India’s heaviest rockets GSLV Mark 3- Geosynchronous Launch Vehicle Mark 3. This process was carried out at the Satish Dhawan Space Centre at Sriharikota. This payload fairing contains the well-known spacecraft Chandrayaan-3.

Chandrayaan 3 is all set to stamp its path on the Earth, being the only natural satellite. The launch of this most awaited spacecraft is scheduled on July 13 2023. It is important to know that this specific spacecraft weighs about 3.9 tonnes, and will be launched 3,4,000 km away from the earth's stratosphere.
