The Indian painted frog, which is fewer in number due to availability of food and water, has been seen in Aamrai region in Sangli, Maharashtra. This amphibian needs a suitable dry place with sufficient water which they don't get in summer due to high temperatures and in the monsoon, too much rain is also not suitable for them.
