Heavy Rain Triggers Landslide in Sikkim, Several Houses Damaged 🌧️⛰️

Continuous heavy rainfall triggered a major landslide in Rimbi village, Gyalshing district, Sikkim, late Thursday night.

Several houses and government accommodations were reportedly damaged in the incident. Thankfully, no loss of life has been reported.

Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang directed local authorities to remain on high alert and prioritise the safety of affected residents.

Authorities have urged people to stay vigilant, follow official advisories and avoid vulnerable areas as relief and safety measures continue.
