LSR Students Protest, Demanding Safer Public Spaces 🚨

A reported sexual assault involving a 17-year-old girl at Aastha Kunj Park in Delhi has sparked protests among students of Lady Shri Ram College (LSR), located nearby.

Students have raised concerns about poor lighting, limited CCTV coverage and inadequate security around the area. They are also highlighting complaints of harassment allegedly experienced by students in and around the campus.

LSR temporarily shifted physical classes online amid the protests, while students called for stronger security measures and better protection in public spaces.

The students have also come together under “Reclaim the Night”, demanding the right to travel and use public spaces safely.
