Yamuna Expressway Bus Fire Leaves 9 Passengers Dead 🚨🚌

A tragic fire broke out in a sleeper bus travelling from Delhi to Mahoba near Jewar on the Yamuna Expressway around 11:30 PM.

According to reports, passengers noticed a burning smell and alerted the driver, but the bus allegedly continued moving. The fire and smoke soon spread through the vehicle, while some passengers managed to escape through the windows.

Nine passengers lost their lives, while several others were injured.

Police have arrested the driver and conductor, and the investigation is underway.

The Prime Minister has announced financial assistance of ₹2 lakh for the families of each deceased passenger and ₹50,000 for those injured.
