Yamuna Expressway Bus Fire Leaves 9 Dead, Several Injured 🚨

A sleeper bus travelling from Delhi to Mahoba caught fire on the Yamuna Expressway in Greater Noida, leaving nine passengers dead and several others injured.

According to the FIR, passengers reportedly noticed a burning smell and alerted the driver and conductor. The crew allegedly failed to stop the bus despite the warnings.

Preliminary investigation suggests the fire may have started after an AC system malfunction, which reportedly ignited engine oil.

The driver and conductor survived and have been detained by police as the investigation continues.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath have announced financial assistance for the victims and their families.
