On Tuesday morning, a deadly explosion at an illegal firecracker factory in Bairagarh, Harda district, Madhya Pradesh, killed over ten people and injured approximately 50 others. The explosion also destroyed 60 nearby houses and injured more than 30 commuters. More than 100 homes were evacuated due to ongoing explosions. The intense blast on Magardha Road in Bairagarh village of Harda had a 15-kilometre radius and caused widespread devastation. Social media videos show the fire and explosions, as people flee for safety.

The impact of the intense blast on Magardha road in Bairagarh village of Harda was so immense that it caused widespread destruction within a 15-kilometer radius. The shattered glass windows triggered a stampede, and rescue operations are currently underway to help those in need.
CM Yadav took immediate action by mobilizing more than 50 ambulances to the scene and offering compensation of Rs 4 lakh to the families of the deceased. Additionally, the blast caused significant damage to 60 nearby houses and affected the lives of more than three dozen commuters. To ensure everyone's safety, authorities had to evacuate over 100 houses due to ongoing explosions.
"Our minister Ranvendra Pratap Singh, DG Home and around 400 police officials have left for the spot. We are trying to control the fire and immediately assist the injured. We will provide Rs 4 lakh to the families of the deceased and the injured will be given free treatment," he said.

Medical colleges in Bhopal and Indore, as well as burn units at AIIMS Bhopal, have been instructed to make the necessary preparations. Firefighters are also sent from Indore and Bhopal, according to Chief Minister Mohan Yadav.
