It is said that the documentary has defamatory content about PM Modi, the RSS and VHP. The BBC’s documentary ‘India – The Modi Question’ was released on 17th January. But right after the documentary got published on various platforms, the Information and Broadcasting Ministry of India banned this documentary in the country. There was censorship posed in this film.  YouTube did block the videos and an order was sent to Twitter to block the link related to this. The content of the documentary talks about the entire political life of PM Narendra Modi.  Starting from the CM of Gujarat to the 2002 riots, Kashmir autonomy, new citizenship law etc. It has created controversies and it was the blame of the government that can create tension between Muslim minorities and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Binay Kumar said, ‘The documentary doesn’t have any kind of credibility.” But for now, the court has given another date for this defamatory case.
