Exclusive images of Tesla Cybertruck's interior leaked ahead of official debut

The highly anticipated Tesla Cybertruck, which was unveiled in 2019, is finally set to enter production in September of this year, as hinted by Tesla CEO Elon Musk. While the exterior of the electric pickup truck has been seen in prototypes, the interior has remained a mystery until recently. Leaked images from the Cybertruck Owners Club have now given us a clear glimpse of the cabin design.

Inside the Cybertruck, the focal point is a large landscape-oriented touchscreen infotainment system that dominates the dashboard. The steering wheel takes on a rectangular shape and includes buttons for turn signals. Unlike traditional cars, there is no separate instrument cluster display in front of the steering wheel. The cabin also features a wide front armrest with generous storage space that can be covered with a slider panel.

Additional interior features include a wireless charging pad situated within a spacious rectangular storage compartment beneath the seats. The windshield extends far back, meeting the A-pillars of the car, but this design can make visibility from the cabin somewhat awkward. Additionally, cleaning the inside of the windshield may prove to be a challenge for owners.

Interestingly, those who have experience driving the Tesla Model 3 electric vehicle will find similarities in the Cybertruck's cabin. Furthermore, the angle of the screen and A-pillars in the Cybertruck bears a resemblance to the design found in a Lamborghini Huracan. Tesla's current lineup offers either a yoke or a conventional steering wheel, but the Cybertruck introduces a unique squashed dual-spoke steering wheel. However, the built-in rotary scroll wheels maintain a familiar feel seen in other Tesla vehicles.
