It is anticipated that Apple will unveil a new 15-inch MacBook Air laptop at the upcoming WWDC 2023 event on June 5. The MacBook Air 15 is rumoured to be powered by Apple's in-house M2 system-on-chip, which is also used in the new MacBook Air 13. Additionally, the event is expected to showcase the release of iOS 16 and iPadOS 16 for iPhones and iPads, respectively. Apple may also debut its mixed-reality headset at the same event, with the possibility of showcasing a dedicated operating system for the AR/VR headset.

According to reports, the forthcoming MacBook Air 15 is likely to come with a metal body and a non-touch LED screen. Despite featuring an LED display, the laptop is expected to offer a native resolution of 2560x1664 pixels and a brightness of 500 units. Apple may also upgrade the FaceTime camera to 1080p and support Wi-Fi 6 connectivity. Given the larger size of the laptop, Apple may consider incorporating a bigger battery with fast charging capabilities. It's expected that the larger screen size may result in a significant price increase. Currently, the MacBook Air 13 with M2 SoC and a 256GB SSD retails for Rs 1,19,900, while the top variant with a 512GB SSD costs Rs 1,49,900.
