Lava has officially introduced its latest mid-range smartphone, the Lava Agni 3, in India. The new device will be available for purchase on Amazon starting October 9, with two stylish colour options: Heather Glass and Pristine Glass.
Pricing and Variants
The Lava Agni 3 is priced at ₹20,999 for the base model, which comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. However, this variant does not include a charger. Customers opting for the version that comes with a bundled charger will need to pay ₹22,999. Additionally, the top-end variant, featuring 256GB of storage and a charger, is priced at ₹24,999.
Software and Display Features
Running on Android 14, the Lava Agni 3 is guaranteed to receive three major OS updates along with four years of security patches, ensuring users stay up to date with the latest software. The smartphone boasts a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1,200x2,652 pixel resolution, and 1,200 nits peak brightness, making it ideal for outdoor use.
Unique Rear Panel Touch Display
One of the standout features of the Agni 3 is the 1.74-inch AMOLED touch display located on the rear panel. This secondary display allows users to manage calls, control music, set alarms, and even take selfies using the rear cameras, adding a unique touch to the device.
Performance and Storage Options
Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300X processor built on a 4nm architecture, the Agni 3 delivers smooth performance paired with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM. The device also supports up to 8GB of virtual RAM for enhanced multitasking. Storage options include 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage, though the device does not support expandable storage.
Camera Setup
The Agni 3 comes equipped with a triple-camera setup, headlined by a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS). Supporting the main sensor is an 8MP ultra-wide lens with a 112-degree field of view and an 8MP telephoto lens featuring 3x optical zoom and electronic image stabilization (EIS). For selfies, the phone offers a 16MP front camera with EIS for steady video recording.
Connectivity and Battery
The smartphone supports 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.4, making it future-ready for high-speed connectivity. It is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 66W fast charging. Lava claims that the phone can charge up to 50% in just 19 minutes, making it highly convenient for users on the go.
