ISRO successfully placed seven Singapore satellites in orbit

On Sunday, the Indian Space Research Organisation, or ISRO, successfully launched seven Singaporean satellites on its well-proven PSLV rocket from Sriharikota's Satish Dhawan Space Centre. S Somanath, the head of ISRO, congratulated the citizens and informed them that all seven satellites had been successfully placed in the proper orbit.

The primary satellite separated 23 minutes after takeoff, followed by six more co-passenger satellites that were subsequently launched into their decided orbits.

On the successful launch and separation of the satellites, ISRO Twitted, "PSLV-C56/DS-SAR Mission: The mission is accomplished. PSLV-C56 vehicle launched all seven satellites precisely into their intended orbits. Thanks to @NSIL_India and Singapore, for the contract."

NewSpace India Limited, the commercial arm of ISRO, undertook today's mission.
