Why Indian Youth Joining Cockroach Janta Party!

What started as a viral reaction has transformed into a national conversation.

The "Cockroach Janta Party" (CJP) emerged on May 16, 2026, following a controversial remark regarding unemployed youth, and within just eight days, it exploded to 22.6 million followers on Instagram.

While the name may sound like a typical meme page, the movement is a sharp, satirical commentary on the reality of unemployment, RTI activism, and the frustrations of India's Gen Z.

Founded by Abhijeet Dipke, the CJP isn't just about humor, it’s an online campaign where the only requirement to join is to be "unemployed."

Is meme culture officially becoming the new medium for youth to hold the system accountable?

As the party continues to challenge mainstream political narratives, the CJP serves as a powerful reminder of the deep-seated grievances of the country's youth.
