SECR, also known as South East Central Railway, is currently accepting applications for Apprentice positions. Those who fulfil the eligibility criteria and are interested in applying can proceed to submit their applications online through the official website of SECR at secr.indianrailways.gov.in
The registration for the aforementioned positions commenced on June 8, 2023, and will conclude on July 7, 2023. Please find below the eligibility criteria, selection process, and additional information. Through this recruitment initiative, the organization aims to fill a total of 772 vacancies.
Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for the aforementioned positions, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Candidates should have successfully completed the 10th standard examination or its equivalent from a recognized Board, with a minimum aggregate of 50 per cent marks.
- Additionally, candidates should possess a National Trade Certificate in the relevant trade as notified.
- The age of the candidate should be between 15 and 24 years as of June 6, 2023.
Number of Vacancies:
- Nagpur Division: 708 positions
- Workshop Motibagh: 64 positions
Selection Process:
The selection process for these positions will be based on a merit list that will be prepared for all the applicants. The merit list will be determined by considering the percentage of marks obtained in the matriculation (10th class) examination, as well as the ITI marks in the trade for which the apprenticeship is being offered.
