Jaishankar, Canada FM Melanie Joly Discusses Strained Ties on Margin of Munich Conference

External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar, along with his Canadian counterpart Melanie Joly, addressed ways to bring warmth to bilateral ties that have been in shambles over the past few months on the sidelines of Munich Security Conference on Friday. The relationship between India and Canada turned frosty last year when the latter accused India of killing Khalistani terrorists.Hardeep Singh Nijjar will be in Surrey in June 2023. The two capitals quickly downsized the strength of diplomats in each other's missions last year.
