Gazan health ministry said that Israeli attacks within the enclave killed 13 people and wounded 85 others in the last 24 hours. This has increased casualties to 43,985 deaths and 104,092 injured since the conflict started. Many victims are still trapped in inaccessible regions, making the rescue operations even more complicated. Targeting Civilian Areas and Rescue Forces
Within the last day, multiple residential buildings in Gaza were targeted. In Beit Lahiya which is a northern town, eight Palestinians were killed. Meanwhile, 12 civilians were killed in an airstrike in Jabalia. Repeated attacks on rescue teams have also hindered the efforts of civil defense and ambulance workers. In the Sabra neighborhood of Gaza City, an Israeli artillery attack on a rescue crew there killed a civil defense officer and injured three others.
Casualties in Lebanon
In Lebanon, tensions remain high. A Lebanese soldier succumbed to injuries after an Israeli attack on an army vehicle between the villages of Burj al-Muluk and Qlayaa. Earlier, an attack in Sarafand killed three Lebanese soldiers, bringing the total number of Lebanese soldiers killed in the conflict to 41. Also, the French UN troops from the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) came under fire, but no casualties were reported. The violence is not slowing down, bringing disastrous losses for civilians and military forces.
