🚨 Andhra Pradesh: Class 10 Student Attacked with Chainsaw Inside School

A shocking incident has emerged from Anantapur district in Andhra Pradesh, where a Class 10 student was allegedly attacked with a tree-cutting chainsaw inside her school on October 31.

According to reports, the accused, a relative who had allegedly been harassing the minor, entered her mathematics classroom and attacked her after she rejected his advances. Another student was also injured in the incident.

The critically injured girl was shifted to a hospital in Bengaluru for specialised treatment. Police arrested the accused at Dharmavaram railway station within hours as he allegedly attempted to flee.

The incident has once again raised serious concerns about children's safety in educational institutions and the need to address harassment and violence against women and girls.
