In just a few seconds the car turned into a ball of fire.

A road accident occurred last night in the Dabra area of Madhya Pradesh's Gwalior district.

A speeding car on the Gwalior Jhansi highway lost control and crashed into an electric pole.

The impact was so tremendous that the car immediately caught fire and within moments the entire vehicle was engulfed in flames.

Three youths were inside the car returning after attending a friend's wedding.

In the accident Uday Shivkarma and Ramji Soni were trapped inside the car and burn3d alive on the spot.

The third youth Chandraprakash Soni somehow managed to escape and save his life but he has suffered serious burns and his condition remains critical.

Police and fire brigade teams reached the spot and after much effort brought the fire under control.

But by then the car was completely burnt.

Preliminary investigation points to high speed as the main cause of the accident.
