A tragic road accident came to light late at night in Madhya Pradesh's Indore.
Two police constables patrolling in the Rajendra Nagar police station area were hit hard by a speeding car.
The impact was so severe that both jawans were flung into the air and thrown far away causing panic in the area.
The injured constables have been identified as Pramod Tyagi and Bhura Lal Jamle.
They were on night duty from 10 PM to 8 AM.
Reports say they had stopped near Durga Nagar on AB Road when a car suddenly rammed into them.
Both are seriously injured and have been rushed to hospital for treatment.
Police are investigating the matter and searching for the accused driver who fled the spot.
