- The expenses of the mission are split between the SIGHT program for ₹17,490 crore, the upcoming pilot projects for ₹1,466 crore, R&D for ₹400 crore, and ₹388 crore towards other mission components.
- The mission's main aim is to make India the hub for the production and export of Green Hydrogen as well as make India energy independent.
- One of the goals for the mission is to produce 50 lakh tons of Green Hydrogen per annum by 2030.
