Suspected Blast Damages Railway Track Near India-Pakistan Border in Rajasthan
A suspected explosion on the Anupgarh-Suratgarh railway track in Rajasthan's Sri Ganganagar district has triggered security concerns near the India-Pakistan border.
The blast, which reportedly occurred late Tuesday night, shattered two concrete railway sleepers. In a close call, a passenger train had crossed the same stretch just 45 minutes before the explosion.
The incident has drawn further attention as RDX and weapons were recovered in a neighbouring border district last October. However, investigators have not established any connection between the two cases.
Multiple security and intelligence agencies are investigating the blast to determine its cause and assess possible security threats.
