Faith Remains Strong on the Kedarnath Route 🙏⛰️
Despite the risks on the Kedarnath route, thousands of devotees continue their journey with unwavering faith in Baba Kedar.
After debris fell near Chirbasa, more than 6,500 pilgrims were safely rescued. Sadly, a local mule operator also lost his life in the incident.
Debris-clearing work is progressing, and the pedestrian route is expected to reopen soon. Helicopter services have also resumed. 🚁
Scientifically, heavy rainfall in the fragile Himalayan terrain can weaken soil and rocks, increasing the risk of landslides. Changing weather patterns and intense rainfall can make these risks even greater.
The administration is working to restore the route while maintaining safety checks and monitoring.
The mountains may be challenging, but the faith of devotees remains unshaken. ❤️🙏
The hope now is simple: every devotee should complete their Baba Kedar journey and return home safely.
