Air Suvidha is no longer needed for international passengers. Air Suvidha was an online form which was mandatory for every international passenger coming to India. In this form, the passenger had to submit details of their stay and the details of their covid vaccination and tests.
This was the last covid-19 precaution to be removed by the government, last week they removed wearing masks as an obligation.
The Civil Aviation ministry released a statement reading, "In the light of sustained declining COVID-19 trajectory and significant advances being made in COVID-19 vaccination coverage both globally as well as in India, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare has issued revised 'Guidelines for International Arrivals".
This decision is taken keeping in mind the decreasing number of international travellers to India. And recently the Air Suvidha portal has been causing troubles as it was freezing very often and uploading vaccination certificates on the form was a hassle.
The changes in the guidelines have been taken into effect from the 22nd of November, midnight.
