WhatsApp, under Meta's ownership, is reportedly working on a new feature called the "sticker maker tool," which will enable users to create stickers directly within the iOS app. According to WABetaInfo, the company intends to add a "New Sticker" option to the conversation share action sheet.With this feature, users will have the ability to select a photo from their collection and make modifications such as background removal. This new functionality aims to eliminate the need for users to download third-party programs.
While a similar tool is already available on WhatsApp Web and Desktop, the iOS version currently in development will offer additional features. The in-app sticker creation tool is still under development and will be included in a future app version.In addition, there are rumors suggesting that WhatsApp is planning to introduce a new group calling feature for macOS devices. This feature would allow users to have group conversations with a limited number of participants. Previously, starting a group call on macOS was not possible due to disabled or non-functional buttons.
