Infinix’s First Flip Phone Launching in India on October 17

Infinix has officially confirmed the launch of its new foldable phone, the Infinix Zero Flip, in India this month. The much-anticipated device is set to make its debut on October 17. While the exact price and availability details remain undisclosed, there is growing speculation that the Zero Flip could be one of the most affordable foldable phones on the market.

The Infinix Zero Flip was initially introduced in Nigeria at a price of 10,65,000 Nigerian Naira, which is approximately ₹53,500. However, the device is expected to launch at a price below ₹50,000 in India, putting it in direct competition with the likes of the Motorola Razr 50 and Tecno Phantom V Flip 5G.

This launch marks Infinix's entry into the clamshell foldable phone market, offering high-end features at a budget-friendly price. The phone is expected to be available in two colour variants  Blossom Glow and Rock Black.

The Indian version of the Infinix Zero Flip is likely to feature a 6.9-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 1080 x 2640 pixels. In addition, the device will also have a 3.64-inch external AMOLED display with a resolution of 1056 x 1066 pixels.

Under the hood, the foldable phone is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8020 chipset, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The phone will run on XOS 14, based on Android 14.

Camera and Battery Specifications

For photography, the Infinix Zero Flip is expected to feature a 50MP primary camera along with a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens. The device is also set to include a 32MP front camera with a built-in flash, capable of supporting 4K video recording for high-quality images and videos.

The phone will reportedly house a 4,720 mAh battery, with support for 70W fast charging, ensuring a quick recharge. Additional features such as GoPro integration and dual stereo speakers tuned by JBL add to the phone's appeal, making it an exciting option for Indian buyers.
