PM Modi: NDA is most successful Alliance

Narendra Modi says,

"This is the most successful alliance in India's history; our aim will be to reach unanimity in all our decisions."

"I believe that if we look at the results of the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections, from every parameter, the world believes that this is NDA's 'Mahavijay'... if we look at the statistics in the history of the alliance, then this is the strongest alliance government," says Modi.

We are committed to principle of 'sarva panth sambhava' (religious equality)...NDA is not a grouping of parties that have come together for power, it's an organic alliance committed to principle of 'nation first'," says Modi.

"NDA is a group committed to the nation first. It must have been assembled in the beginning after a long period of 30 years.”

“Today, the people of India have watered the trust of the NDA and turned that seed into a fruitful one. We all have the legacy of such great leaders and we are proud of it. In the past 10 years, we have tried to move forward with the same legacy, the same values of NDA and to take the country forward...," the Prime Minister said.

“For me, all the leaders of all the parties are equal in the Parliament. When we talk about Sabka Prayaas, for us everyone becomes equal whether they are from our party or not. This is the reason the NDA alliance has been strong and moved ahead in the last 30 years.” he added

Modi also said the NDA government in the next 10 years will focus on good governance, development, quality of life and minimum interference in the lives of common citizens.

Mocked Low Tally of Seats

Taking a swipe at the Congress, Mr. Modi also said that even after 10 years, the grand old party couldn’t touch 100-mark in the Lok Sabha polls. “Their total seats in the last three polls are fewer than our tally in this election alone,” he said.

“INDIA alliance parties have already started saying the alliance was only for the 2024 Lok Sabha polls, it shows their character, hunger for power,” said Narendra Modi.

“They tried to paint the 2024 Lok Sabha results as a loss for us but the people of our country know we never lost,” he added.

EVM Alive or Dead?

As opposition has put allegations of tampered Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs), Prime Minister-elect Narendra Modi emphasised the integrity of India's electoral process at the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) Parliamentary meeting on Friday.

During his address, Modi recounted his reaction to the election results, humorously asking if the EVMs were "alive or dead" amid the ongoing scrutiny.

“These people (Opposition) had decided to ensure that people stop believing in democracy and democratic process of India. They continuously abused EVM," Modi said.

Modi further asserted that by the evening of June 4, the Opposition's doubts were effectively silenced. "EVM ne unko chup kar diya (EVM silenced the Opposition). This is the strength of India’s democracy, its fairness. I hope I won’t hear about EVM for 5 years. But when we go into 2029, perhaps they will again harp about EVM. The country will never forgive them," he remarked.

He also criticized the Opposition alliance, referred to as the INDIA alliance, for their skepticism towards technological advancements such as EVMs and Aadhaar, suggesting they were out of touch with the current century.
