Hollywood actor Michael Douglas heaped praise on Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the 54th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) 2023. Speaking at the festival, Douglas lauded the Indian government's efforts to promote the growth of the film industry in the country.

Douglas was in Goa to attend IFFI 2023, where he was a special guest. He also interacted with aspiring filmmakers and students during his time at the festival.
Douglas's comments were echoed by other Hollywood celebrities who attended IFFI 2023. Actor Hilary Swank and director Oliver Stone also praised the Indian government's efforts to promote the film industry.
The 54th IFFI 2023 was held from November 20 to 28 in Goa. The festival featured a wide range of films from India and around the world. Michael Douglas is an Academy Award-winning actor who has starred in films such as "Wall Street," "Fatal Attraction," and "Ant-Man."
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been a vocal supporter of the film industry. He has launched several initiatives to promote the growth of the industry, including the establishment of the National Film Development Corporation (NFDC). The Indian film industry is the world's largest by number of films produced annually.
