Mid-Air Helicopter Collision in Nepal Kills Indian National; CCTV Captures Crash

A fatal helicopter collision in Nepal's Solukhumbu district has claimed the life of a 47-year-old Indian national, identified as Vasant Kumar Balara Madu. The accident occurred on Tuesday morning at the Khumbu Pasang Lhamu Pheriche helipad, around 250 km from Kathmandu.

According to Nepal's Civil Aviation Authority, the rotor blades of helicopters operated by Fishtail Air and Air Dynasty struck each other while approaching the helipad. A 53-year-old New Zealand citizen of Indian origin, Shailesh Kishan Patel, was injured and airlifted for medical treatment.

CCTV footage has captured the collision, while aviation authorities have launched an investigation to determine the circumstances behind the crash.
