Cease fire over, Israel back to offensive tactics in Gaza as death toll keeps climbing

Shortly after, Hamas fired its first missile from Gaza since the beginning of the halt. The truce entirely collapsed an hour later. The United States has also openly attributed the ceasefire's failure to Hamas.

It acts as a prompt that they are still competent. 57 days into the conflict, Hamas is still able to strike Israel with missiles. The hospital where the victims were transported reports that a strike on a residence in the southern city of Deir al-Balah killed at least nine people, including three children. Seven other bodies—two of them were children—who were slain in nocturnal attacks were also brought to the hospital.

Since October 7, there have been over 15,200 deaths and over 40,000 injuries in Gaza. According to the health ministry, women and children made up 70% of the deceased.

This is one of Hamas's most important statements. It serves as a reminder that they are still capable. Even after 57 days of fighting, Hamas is still able to launch missiles into Israel. Since the truce expired, this rocket onslaught from the Gaza Strip is undoubtedly the biggest that we have witnessed. a massive bombardment that struck several locations in the south of Israel, including Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.

The Israeli occupation troops had earlier attacked the whole Gaza Strip, but in the final hour, they destroyed a residential structure in the Rafah neighborhood. There have been reports of around six Palestinian deaths and several injuries.

For almost two hours, artillery bombardment has been falling on Khan Younis' eastern regions. The noises of the Israeli bombings in Khan Younis' eastern districts are audible once more.

Israel is attempting to demolish any structure that is close to the boundaries, and we can plainly see them shooting light flares into the eastern skies of Khan Younis from where we are standing in the centre of Khan Younis City.
At a similar vein, the attacks are still going on at the Nuseirat refugee camp, where it is alleged that ten Palestinians have been injured and over nine Palestinians have died after Israeli occupying force hit a residential structure.
