In a stunning and brazen robbery captured on camera, criminals in Deoghar, Jharkhand, bypassed the usual methods of breaking open a cash vault and instead stole the entire SBI ATM machine near Nandan Pahar. Striking at 3:30 AM, a gang of approximately seven miscreants sliced open the shutter, severed the ATM unit using a gas cutter, and tied it to a getaway vehicle with a heavy-duty rope.

They dragged the bulky machine nearly 500 meters down the public road to a secluded area before loading it into the car and speeding away. The stolen machine reportedly contained about ₹4,82,000 in cash. While previous ATM robbery attempts in places like Singrauli were thwarted before suspects could access the money, this high-stakes Deoghar heist exposes glaring security lapses surrounding stand-alone kiosks.

Local police have launched an intense manhunt using CCTV footage to track down the gang. Highlighting urgent ground-level security incidents with sharp, rapid reporting ensures the VYGR platform keeps audiences thoroughly informed on public safety concerns.
