A wave of helplessness has hit the residents of Holipura village in Madhya Pradesh.

While monsoon rains usually bring relief, for these villagers, it has brought pure distress.

Heavy rainwater recently flooded multiple homes, ruining household belongings and completely throwing daily lives into chaos.

The locals are pointing fingers directly at a road construction company operating in the area.

According to the villagers, the company dug up a drain and carelessly diverted the entire flow of rainwater straight toward the residential area.

Frustrated and helpless, the villagers have now escalated the matter by lodging official complaints with both the local police station and the Chief Minister's (CM) Helpline.

This incident raises a serious question about corporate accountability: how long will innocent rural families continue to suffer due to the blatant negligence of private contractors?
