A leopard entered a village in Madhya Pradesh triggering panic and attacking people. Six villagers and two forest staff were injured.

Amid the chaos a young man showed incredible courage and tackled the leopard bare handed saving himself and others.

The incident happened in Gujri village where the leopard suddenly entered and started attacking locals.

People ran for their lives as the big cat became aggressive and injured one after another.

The injured were rushed to hospital and all are now reported out of danger.

In the middle of panic one youth bravely faced the leopard and pinned it down before it fled.

The forest department and rescue teams arrived quickly and after much effort captured the leopard and released it back into the wild.

The village is calm now but fear still lingers among residents.
