Key Highlights of the Rescue:

• Despite prior warnings from local divers and authorities advising them not to step into deep water, the youths ignored the instructions while bathing and quickly lost their footing, struggling to stay afloat in the strong currents.

• Spotting the drowning men, alert local divers—Babulal Mangle, Ganesh, Jitesh, and Anil—without wasting a single second, grabbed life-saving rescue tubes and dived into the river.

• With the assistance of Home Guard personnel stationed at the ghat, all four youths were pulled out safely within minutes, averting what could have been a tragic loss of four lives.
