The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has introduced a groundbreaking e-service book portal designed to modernise and streamline retirement-related processes for its personnel. Officially launched on Wednesday, the portal is set to enhance the efficiency and transparency of pension processing for the approximately 2,400 CISF members who retire each year.
Key Features: Real-Time Tracking and Transparency
One of the standout features of the e-service book portal is its real-time tracking functionality. This allows retiring personnel to monitor the status of their pension files, ensuring greater transparency and reducing delays. By digitising service records, the system eliminates the need for physical transfers, which often lead to inefficiencies, particularly for personnel posted in remote areas.

Focus on Timely Pension Processing
A CISF spokesperson emphasised that the portal aims to improve the accuracy and timeliness of pension disbursements. Given the force’s critical role in securing national assets, this initiative is expected to ease the transition for retiring members, ensuring they receive their benefits without unnecessary delays.
The e-service book portal represents a significant step towards digital transformation within the CISF, enhancing not only operational efficiency but also the overall experience for its retiring workforce.
