14-Year-Old "Princess From The Slum" Becomes the Face of a Luxury Beauty Brand

Malisha Kharwa, a 14-year-old who lives in Mumbai's Dharavi slum, has been selected as the face of Forest Essentials' newest advertising campaign, named "The Samavadi Collection." In Mumbai in 2020, Maleesha was discovered by Hollywood star Robert Hoffman. Later, Robert created a Malisha Instagram account. On Instagram, Malisha presently has over 225,000 followers. Slum princess is a hashtag that Manisha frequently uses in her social media posts.

Malisha has recently begun modeling and has been in the short film "Leave Your Fairytale" as an actress. Malisha has been selected as the face of Forest Essentials' newest advertising campaign, which aims to inspire young people.

Forest Essentials on their Instagram account shared with the caption ‘Her face lit up with joy and she could see her dreams before her eyes. Malisha’s story is a beautiful reminder that dreams really do come true.’ Malisha’s video was shared by many people and it has over 5 million views and 406,000 likes.
