Taj Mahotsav 2025: Explore the Cultural Carnival In Agra

There are many cultural carnivals in India, and Taj Mahotsav is one of them. It is celebrated on the anniversary of the Taj Mahal, which is located in Agra. This year also, it is a ten-day festival that starts on February 18 and ends on March 2. This festival showcases India’s rich culture and heritage and attracts worldwide visitors.

Taj Mahotsav is organised by the Tourism Department of Uttar Pradesh to promote the culture, heritage and tourism in Agra. This festival takes place at Shilpgram, the Eastern gate of the Taj Mahal. Entry price may start from 50, and there will be no entry for children below 3 years of age.

Cultural Activities 

There is a wide variety of cultural activities that take place in this festival, including folk dances, music performances, handicraft demonstrations, the royal experience of riding camel and elephants, street performances and Bollywood and classical music concerts.

According to the organisers, there will be some events held by celebrity singers like Shraddha Mishra, Aastha Gill, Piyush Mishra, and other folk singers. Comedy Nights Sunil Grover also takes part in the festival.

Stalls 

There are also stalls allocated to explore in this Carnival.

Food stalls - In these stalls, one can find Mughlai dishes, U.P special dishes and other regional recipes, sweets, chaats and many more.

Handicraft and Art stalls - Visitors can see and buy traditional art, jewellery, sculptures and paintings.

Fashion Exhibition - People can find historic ethnic wear from different state sarees like Banarasi, Kanchipuram, Kashmiri shawls and Rajasthani prints.

Coming to security, there will be 100 CCTV that can monitor different places throughout the festival, and LED displays will be held these will be under the higher authorities also, the allotment of 376 stalls has been registered, according to the reports.
