Viral Video: Construction Worker Forced to Carry Bricks Up 21 Floors Despite Working Lifts

A disturbing video highlighting discrimination against construction and service workers in residential societies has sparked widespread outrage on social media.

The footage reportedly shows a construction worker carrying nearly 20 kg of cemented bricks on his head while climbing the stairs of a 21-storey building, despite four functional elevators being available.

The incident has reignited debate over the unequal treatment of construction workers, delivery partners and housekeeping staff, who are often restricted from using residential lifts and directed towards separate entrances.

Netizens are demanding basic dignity and equal treatment for the very people who build and maintain our homes.

A simple question remains: If they can build our homes, why can't they use the lifts?
