Cheapest iPhones that Apple still supports
Here are some of the best older iPhone models that you can consider in 2023, which are now cheaper and offer better value for money.
As of February 2023, Apple is currently supporting the following iPhone models:
iPhone 12 series
iPhone 11 series
iPhone SE (2nd generation)
iPhone XR
iPhone 13
Out of these models, the iPhone SE (2nd generation) and the iPhone XR are generally the cheapest iPhones that Apple still supports.
The iPhone SE (2nd generation) was released in 2020 and features the same processor as the iPhone 11 series, making it a powerful device in a small form factor. The base model comes with 64GB of storage. The iPhone XR was released in 2018 and features an older processor, but still offers a large and colourful display, as well as a capable camera system. The base model comes with 64GB of storage.
With a similar design, an improved dual-camera system, an A15 Bionic processor, and a small notch on the front, the iPhone 13 is just as good as the iPhone 14. The iPhone 13 with 128GB storage capacity is currently discounted in price.
While these devices may not have all the latest features of the newest iPhones, they still offer a solid user experience and will continue to receive software updates and security patches from Apple for the foreseeable future.
