India defeated Pakistan in Cape Town by seven wickets thanks to an incredible unbeaten 58-run partnership between Jemimah Rodrigues (53*) and Richa Ghosh (31*). India crossed the finish line with one over to spare, chasing 150 for victory.
India's star player at a time when it appeared difficult to score runs was Jemimah Rodrigues (53). She was joined by 31-year-old Richa Ghosh, in her endeavor against the opposing side.
India played well but made mistakes with the ball. Pakistan put up a good fight, but the Women in Blue managed to prevail. India will have to be better in their next game, as they aim to extend their winning streak against their arch-rival.
