Women’s day is celebrated on 8th March every year. In order to celebrate this day, WPL has decided to give free entry to fans for the match between Gujarat Giants(GG) and Royal Challengers Bangalore(RCB) taking place at Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai.
The information was first exhibited on the scoreboard during the match between Royals Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Mumbai Indians (MI) at Brabourne Stadium on 6th March. This was followed by a tweet from the official page.
Before this decision, BCCI had decided to give free entry to girls and women to any WPL match, to promote Women’s Cricket.
