Will Rishabh Pant be back in shape for World Cup? Watch as he shares his first batting video post-surgery

The much-anticipated comeback to batting by Team India's star wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant, who has been out since December 2022 due to a serious car crash, brought joy to the fans on Wednesday during a practice match at JSW Vijaynagar. On the social media site X (formerly Twitter), a supporter uploaded a video of several of Pant's swings during his batting practice. The footage showed the left-handed powerhouse in his element, handling the willow with his signature grace and precision.

At the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru, where he had been moving forward with his recovery, Pant has started batting and keeping, according to the most recent official update from the BCCI, which was published on July 21. But this is the first time a picture or video of Pant entering the cricket field has been shared online.

As Pant stepped up to the plate, there was a sizable audience present, and when he arrived at the crease, they erupted into wild applause. Additionally, Pant once launched a lofted shot toward long-off that received a ton of support from the crowd surrounding the field.
