Will France Center-Back pair miss out on the Plants ultimate game due to virus outbreak?

The FIFA World Cup final will take place on the 18th of December at 8:30 p.m. (IST). Argentina will face France as Lionel Messi is just one step away from his ultimate dream of lifting the world cup for his country. His fans all around the world have been praying, and it seems that their prayers might have had some kind of effect on this.

France, who have come into this FIFA World Cup as defending champions, have had a very impressive run considering in the past all the defending champions have been knocked out before the round of 16. However, luck does not seem to be on their side this time as their main centerback, Raphael Varane, who has been a key element in France's defensive lineup, seems to have come into contact with some symptoms of the virus that has been on the outbreak in the French football team. Along with Varane, his fellow defensive partner Ibrahima Konate also seems to have come into contact with the virus and has not left his hotel room in the past two days.

If the virus prevents both of them from participating in the planet's ultimate game, it is going to be a very big advantage for Argentina considering both of the forwards, Lionel Messi and Julian Alvarez, have been in red-hot form. Even with a defender like Varane, these two players seem very difficult to stop, and in his absence, things might get ugly for France in the World Cup final.

France will be on the hunt to become the first team since Brazil in 1958 and 1962 to win the World Cup two times in a row. Whereas Argentina will be looking to cement their legacy and the legacy of one of their all-time greats, Lionel Messi, by winning this World Cup after winning the Copa America in July last year.
